Now Hiring: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Location: Bend , Oregon
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Are you an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) who is passionate about helping patients restore their independence and quality of life? As an Occupational Therapist, you will work directly with patients to help them regain the physical and cognitive skills needed for daily activities. You’ll assess, plan, and implement personalized treatment programs, focusing on improving function, strength, and independence in the activities of daily living (ADLs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific goals related to daily living, self-care, work, and leisure activities
- Use evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and overall independence
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and home modifications to enhance recovery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, orthopedic specialists, and physicians, to provide integrated care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in occupational therapy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Oregon OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in orthopedic or outpatient settings (preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
