Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Assisted Living Facility - Oregon


Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 per year

Location: Beaverton , Oregon

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist in our assisted living facility, you will evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance their daily living skills, promote independence, and improve quality of life. You will play a key role in helping seniors adapt to changes, maintain mobility, and engage meaningfully in their environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments of residents’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions including activities of daily living (ADL) training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies to promote safety and independence
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and resident care planning

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Oregon Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience working with elderly or geriatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate approach to care
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
