We're Hiring: Office Manager | Hospital Setting | Hempstead , NY

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

As our Office Manager, you’ll be the organizational backbone of the hospital's administrative department. You’ll oversee day-to-day office operations, manage administrative staff, coordinate with medical teams, and ensure the seamless flow of information and processes across departments.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and support administrative staff (schedulers, clerks, receptionists)
  • Oversee scheduling, record-keeping, and office supply management
  • Coordinate with medical, HR, finance, and IT departments for streamlined operations
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Assist in budgeting, payroll approvals, and vendor management
  • Troubleshoot workflow issues and implement productivity-enhancing solutions
  • Maintain patient-first service standards across all touchpoints
  • Prepare regular reports on office metrics and operational performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (required)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of administrative or office management experience (hospital or clinical setting preferred)
  • Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO)
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and office management tools
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and lead under pressure
