Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:
As an Optometrist, you'll assure the delivery of quality vision care to patients. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Serving as the primary interface with the Clinic Medical Director and Health Center Manager.
  • Ensuring the Vision Clinic is fully operational during scheduled hours.
  • Supervising optometric technicians and guiding preliminary and specialized testing.
  • Providing routine eye exams, urgent care, and other vision care within the clinic setting.
  • Coordinating referrals to specialists or providers when necessary.
  • Monitoring and maintaining quality standards in medical records documentation.
  • Acting as a resource for physicians and clinic staff on vision care issues.
  • Participating in studies to develop cost-benefit information for primary care vision Clinic.
  • Collaborating with the Clinic management team for smooth operations.

Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry Degree.
  • All necessary state licenses/certifications to practice.
  • Federal DEA license and State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if applicable.
  • CPR certification.
  • 3 years of experience minimum
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, multitasking ability, and proficiency in software applications.

Salary:
  • $160,000 to $220,000 per year
