Calvert Vision Care is actively seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a full-time role covering various locations in state in surrounding areas. We specialize in providing on-site healthcare services including optometry, dentistry, podiatry, audiology, and behavioral health to residents in long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities. We connect deserving residents with crucial healthcare, fostering dignity and excellence in every service we provide.

Responsibilities:
As an Optometrist, you will provide general optometry services to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within a designated territory in Texas.

Schedule:
  • Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Part-time: Flexible schedule options available

Essential Functions:
  • Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
  • Address ocular disorders resulting from age-related illnesses.
  • Conduct examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system and eye structures.
  • Identify systemic conditions affecting eye health.
  • Maintain patient records using our cutting-edge EMR system.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate of Optometry (DO)
  • State professional license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • TPA certification
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in email, internet usage, and willingness to learn healthcare-related software

Salary:
  • $160,000 to $220,000 per year
