Responsibilities:
As an Optometrist, you will provide general optometry services to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within a designated territory in Texas.
Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Part-time: Flexible schedule options available
Essential Functions:
- Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
- Address ocular disorders resulting from age-related illnesses.
- Conduct examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system and eye structures.
- Identify systemic conditions affecting eye health.
- Maintain patient records using our cutting-edge EMR system.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Optometry (DO)
- State professional license
- Valid driver’s license
- TPA certification
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in email, internet usage, and willingness to learn healthcare-related software
Salary:
- $160,000 to $220,000 per year
