Hiring! Pharmacist in Central Point, Oregon

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in a Pharmacy or Hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while contributing to a safe and efficient pharmaceutical practice.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosage, ingredients, and interactions
  • Provide expert guidance to patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication use and safety
  • Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure proper treatment and minimize adverse effects
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Oversee pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health systems
  • Provide immunizations and other clinical services as permitted by state regulations

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Oregon state Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of drug interactions, pharmaceutical regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions
