Now Hiring: Full-Time Pharmacy Technician
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000 per year + benefits
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work alongside pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the accurate preparation, dispensing, and administration of medications. You’ll assist in medication inventory management, provide excellent customer service to patients, and help ensure that all medications are stored, dispensed, and administered safely and effectively.

Job Duties:
- Prepare, label, and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision
- Assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797>/<800> standards
- Maintain accurate medication records in the electronic health system (EPIC experience a plus)
- Restock automated dispensing cabinets (e.g., Pyxis or Omnicell)
- Support inventory control, expiration date checks, and ordering processes
- Participate in emergency code response and STAT medication delivery
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and state/federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required); Associate’s degree in Pharmacy Technology (preferred)
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from an accredited program, and active licensure in the state of Arizona
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting preferred (new graduates with clinical experience will be considered)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication safety, and inventory management
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow protocols and ensure accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
- Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and the drug formulary
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Experience in sterile compounding, chemotherapy preparation, or other specialized areas is a plus but not required
