Job Type: Full Time
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000 per year + benefits

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and assist in the management of pharmacy operations.
Job Duties:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs, to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Prepare medication orders by retrieving, counting, and labeling medications
- Process medication orders through the pharmacy’s computerized system
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and pharmaceutical supplies
- Assist patients with medication-related questions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Ensure proper medication storage, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Provide customer service by answering questions regarding medications, refills, and product availability
- Assist with insurance verifications and claims processing, as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control guidelines
- Support pharmacists in clinical services, such as medication counseling and providing health education to patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred, but not required
- Experience in a pharmacy setting (retail, hospital, or clinical) preferred, but we are also open to entry-level candidates
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- BLS or CPR certification (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
