Phlebotomist - Full-time position
Location: Union City, New Jersey
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our growing healthcare team in New Jersey. As a vital member of our laboratory and patient care departments, you’ll play a key role in collecting blood specimens, ensuring accurate labeling, and delivering a safe, positive experience for every patient.

Salary: $280,000-$300,000 per year + benefits
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
What You’ll Do:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws from patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and seniors
- Accurately label, process, and transport blood and specimen samples to the lab according to established protocols
- Verify patient identity and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized phlebotomy station following infection control and safety standards
- Interact with patients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring comfort and minimizing anxiety
- Follow proper procedures for specimen handling, storage, and disposal
- Assist in quality control, inventory of supplies, and equipment maintenance
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- National Phlebotomy Certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA, NCPT, or CPT) strongly preferred
- At least 6 months to 1 year of recent experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, patient-first attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
