Location: Grants Pass, Oregon

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $40k to $60K a year + benefits

Job Summary:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples, ensuring proper labeling and processing, and maintaining a safe and professional environment for all patients. Your attention to detail and excellent patient interaction skills are essential in this front-line healthcare role.

Job Duties:

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
  • Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens
  • Maintain accurate records and follow chain-of-custody protocols
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis and transport
  • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with infection control standards
  • Provide a calm, reassuring presence to patients of all ages

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy training program
  • Current Phlebotomy certification (CPT) in Oregon (or eligibility)
  • CPR certification (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome!
