Physical Therapist Assistant - Aurora Wellness Center.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our full-time team at Aurora Wellness Center. In this role, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM)

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting patient evaluations and assessments with professionalism and care.
  • Implement treatment plans and adjust exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, prioritizing patient well-being.
  • Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Apply various physical therapy modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to alleviate pain and enhance function while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and their families on safe techniques for performing exercises and activities at home.
  • Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes meticulously.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records with attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a commitment to patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
