Physical Therapist Assistant– Full-Time Opportunity in Fresno, California
We are currently looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team of professionals in providing exceptional orthopedic rehabilitation services.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans. Your role will be crucial in assisting patients with orthopedic conditions and helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 per year + benefits
- Support Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment programs to improve patients’ physical health and mobility.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and other modalities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, providing valuable input to the treatment plan.
- Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and safe movement patterns.
- Assist in setting up and operating therapeutic equipment, ensuring safety and proper use.
- Keep detailed patient records and document treatment sessions in accordance with clinic policies.
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure they understand their treatment plan and progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment and assist in clinic operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in California.
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy is preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
- Ability to follow treatment protocols and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Compassionate and patient-focused, with a commitment to providing the best possible care.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinic management software is a plus.
