Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Bend, Oregon

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $75, 000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We are searching for compassionate, forward thinking PTAs who optimize patient centered diagnosis by assessing strengths and weaknesses to devise creative, effective team-based treatment plans in accordance with the physician's orders. We are searching for Physical Therapy Assistants that have effective communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills that motivate patients to restore their physical function and mobility.

Who are we looking for?

  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum and licensed in the state of Oregon.
  • Must hold current and active Oregon State license/registration where applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
  • Full knowledge of resident’s rights
  • Exudes professionalism in presentation
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
  • CPR certification

What you will do:

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as designed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to patients.
  • Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
  • Educate patients on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and strength.
  • Assist with daily functional activities and mobility exercises.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist in developing care plans.
  • Ensure a clean and safe therapy environment.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to support patient recovery.
