Physical Therapist Assistant– Full-Time Opportunity in North Brunswick, New Jersey

We are currently seeking a warm, skilled, and team-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. If you enjoy building strong, lasting relationships with your patients and making a real impact in their day-to-day lives, this is the place for you.

As a PTA, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapy services focused on improving strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence. You’ll play a key role in helping residents maintain their activity level and prevent hospitalizations—all within the comfort of their home-like setting.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions
  • Monitor and document resident progress and communicate with the supervising PT
  • Promote safety, motivation, and functional independence in daily routines
  • Collaborate with nursing, wellness, and caregiving staff
  • Educate residents and caregivers on use of assistive devices and home exercise programs
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in [State]
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Passion for working with seniors in a residential care setting
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in assisted living, senior living, or geriatric rehab
  • Familiarity with fall prevention, mobility aids, and wellness programming
