Job Opening: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Irving , Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $75, 000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our orthopedic outpatient team. This is a hands-on role that supports the execution of individualized therapy plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll play a key part in guiding patients through their recovery journey, using your clinical skills to help them meet functional goals and return to the activities they love.
Who are we looking for?
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Passion for orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- 1+ year of experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehab settings
- Interest or training in manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, or specialized techniques

What you will do:
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients on techniques for improving mobility, preventing re-injury, and achieving rehab milestones
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
