Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position: Physical Therapist Assitant

Location: Sikeston, Missouri

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehab team in Missouri. As a PTA, you’ll work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, hands-on care that helps patients recover strength, mobility, and confidence. You’ll play a key role in transforming treatment plans into meaningful progress—one patient at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
  • Observe and report patient performance, progress, and any concerns.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Help ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
  • Active Missouri PTA license (or pending licensure).
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and encourage engagement in therapy.
  • Prior clinical experience is valued—but not required. New grads welcome!
