Now Hiring: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Boulder City, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $85,000 to $90,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are expanding our team and are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join us on our mission of helping patients achieve their best possible outcomes.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide direct care to patients, implementing treatment plans and supporting rehabilitation goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your clinical skills in a dynamic, collaborative setting. You will play an integral role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses, all while delivering exceptional service and improving patient outcomes.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in administering treatments and interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, based on the patient’s plan of care
- Provide hands-on assistance with patient activities, mobility training, and functional exercises
- Observe patients’ progress and provide feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on proper use of assistive devices, exercises, and self-care techniques
- Document patient progress and update treatment records according to clinic guidelines
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
- Provide support in the clinic’s day-to-day operations, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure understanding of care plans and expectations
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and clinic policies
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current or eligibility for licensure as a PTA in the state of Nevada
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, treatment modalities, and functional movement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and the clinical team
- Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to assist with a variety of patient populations, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical
- Experience with documentation and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus
