Now Hiring: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Clinic | West Haven, Connecticut
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $60,000 to $ 75,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We treat a wide spectrum of patients — from athletes to post-surgical clients and chronic pain warriors — and our highly skilled team of therapists and assistants works closely together to help each individual reach their full potential.
We’re looking for a dynamic and passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, helping to carry out treatment plans, motivate patients, and contribute to a culture of excellence and empathy.
What You Bring:
- Associate’s Degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
- Current Connecticut PTA License (or eligibility to obtain).
- A genuine passion for helping people move and feel better.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, dependable, and motivated to grow.
- Bonus: Prior outpatient orthopedic experience or specialty training is a plus!

What will you do?
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing customized treatment plans.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
- Provide hands-on care, including modalities and manual techniques as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress, record detailed notes, and communicate updates with the PT team.
- Educate and encourage patients in their rehabilitation journey.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
