Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Bring Movement & Meaning to Oregon’s Seniors (Assisted Living)

Location: McMinnville, Oregon

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated PTA to join our care team in a welcoming Assisted Living community in Oregon. If you’re passionate about senior wellness and want to be part of a supportive organization, you belong here.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans tailored to each resident’s needs and goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and func
  • Monitoring resident progress and reporting back to the supervising PT
  • Providing compassionate, encouraging care during sessions
  • Educating residents and staff on mobility techniques, safety, and exercises
  • Accurately documenting sessions by state and Medicare guidelines
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each resident

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Active Oregon PTA license (or eligibility)
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in geriatrics, assisted living, or skilled nursing is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
