Now Hiring: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Focus
Location: Pompano Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
As a leading orthopedic-focused physical therapy practice in Florida, we specialize in helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical procedures, and chronic orthopedic conditions.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you’ll be a vital part of our orthopedic care team—working under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists to deliver hands-on, personalized care that helps patients achieve optimal outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with implementation of treatment plans focused on orthopedic rehab
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to therapy
- Educating patients on home exercises and proper techniques
- Communicating with the supervising PT regarding patient status and goals
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive clinical environment
- Encouraging and motivating patients during their rehabilitation journey
Qualifications:
- Florida-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (or eligible for licensure)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Experience or strong interest in orthopedic physical therapy
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise and manual techniques
- Compassionate, professional, and dedicated to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
