Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven PTA who is passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation and eager to contribute to a team-oriented, patient-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, focusing on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function following orthopedic injuries or surgeries.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist on patient improvements, challenges, and any changes in condition.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention techniques, and home exercise programs to promote long-term health and prevent re-injury.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment that encourages patients to stay engaged in their rehabilitation and achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of New York.
• A strong interest or experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and a passion for helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions.
• Familiarity with manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescriptions for orthopedic conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and work as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development in the field of orthopedic rehabilitation.
