Now Hiring: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Hospital Setting

Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 per year

Location: LaBelle, Florida

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic illness. Your role is essential in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Monitor and document patient progress, providing updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Instruct patients in proper techniques for exercises and functional activities
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during all treatment sessions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and maximize outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, hospital policies, and state licensing standards

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Florida PTA license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
