Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will collaborate with Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care in an outpatient setting. The role requires hands-on care and a functional approach to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling, primarily Monday-Friday - 9 am to 5 pm.
- Full-time position with 40 to 45 hours per week.
- Can start ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Assist in following the DPT’s Plan of Care.
- Provide hands-on manual therapy and functional exercises.
- Ensure timely documentation and adherence to billing practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care.
- Follow state and federal regulations in patient care and documentation.
Qualifications:
- NYS Licensure (New York State License for Physical Therapy Assistants).
- Graduate of an Accredited Curriculum (Must have completed a recognized PTA program).
- Business and Clinical Minded (Able to think both in terms of patient care and business needs).
- Motivated, Ethical, Positive Attitude (Looking for someone who is driven, ethical, and has a positive mindset).
- Desire to Develop Professionally (Willingness to continue learning and growing in the field).
- Excellent Work Ethic (A strong commitment to working hard and meeting standards).
- Sales Experience a Plus but Will Train (Sales experience is an added advantage, but not required as training will be provided).
- Hands-On, Manual Skills, and Functional Approach (Must be adept at physical, hands-on therapy, with a focus on functional rehabilitation).
Benefits:
- Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 with potential productivity bonuses.
