Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
- $50,000 - $70,000 a year with benefits.
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment programs for patients.
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and activities for rehabilitation.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize trigger point therapy techniques when appropriate.
- Support occupational health initiatives within the facility.
Requirements:
- Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Currently active PTA state license
- Must have 2 years of experience as PTA.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to provide quality patient care with compassion and empathy.
