Looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Orthopedic Clinic
Work Schedule:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Orthopedic unit. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients. Your role will involve assisting with therapeutic exercises, implementing treatment plans, and providing support to patients throughout their recovery process.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- $50,000 - $70,000 a year with benefits.
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and manual techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and instructions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Currently active PTA state license
- Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
