Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 yearly plus full benefits

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside Physical Therapists to deliver top-notch clinical care in outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health settings. Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in conducting detailed evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities.
  • Execute treatment plans created by Physical Therapists to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional status.
  • Administer hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Accurately document patient progress, treatment interventions, and discharge recommendations in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities and seek opportunities for advanced certifications and training.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
  • Must have a CA PTA LICENSE, AAS PTA DEGREE
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
