Looking for Physical Therapist Assistant in We Care Physical Therapy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, and occupational health facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am - 4pm or 10 hour days from 7am – 6pm)

Salary: 50,000 to $70,000 yearly

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and reporting it to a physical therapist
• Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care
• Treat patients using a variety of techniques, such as massage and stretching
• Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to help patients
• Educate patients and family members about what to do after treatment
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Graduate from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Must have a CA PTA LICENSE, AAS PTA DEGREE

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
