Seeking Compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to Join our Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic.
Work Schedule:
We are looking for a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Orthopedic Clinic. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This role involves working with patients of all ages, with a focus on rehabilitation, pain management, and enhancing overall mobility. Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- $50k to $60k a year plus benefits
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment programs for patients.
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and activities for rehabilitation.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize trigger point therapy techniques when appropriate.
- Support occupational health initiatives within the facility.
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution
- Active New York state License as Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques.
