Seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our We Care Physical Therapy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. If you have a passion for helping others, we would love you to be a part of our expert and compassionate team!

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am - 4pm or 10 hour days from 7am – 6pm)

Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 yearly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and reporting it to a physical therapist
  • Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care
  • Treat patients using a variety of techniques, such as massage and stretching
  • Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to help patients
  • Educate patients and family members about what to do after treatment
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
  • Must have a CA PTA LICENSE, AAS PTA DEGREE
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
