Full-time Physical Therapist Needed in an Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

We are looking for a talented and hard-working Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join their ever-growing rehabilitation team. As a physical therapist owned clinic we pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of customized evidence-based care to patients in order to quickly achieve the outcomes they are looking for.

Salary:
  • $50,000-$60,000 per year (depending on experience) plus full benefits
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Patient Volume: 1-2 patients an hour

Types of Patients: Adults

Responsibilities
  • Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients.
  • Accurately document daily, weekly, or monthly records of clients progress and submit clinical paperwork to the office on time each week.
  • Notify physical therapist or Director of any equipment failures and/or lack of supplies
  • Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities.
  • Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Active New York state license as Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Must have 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant,
  • Strong manual therapy skills and training.
  • Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and react calmly under stressful conditions.
  • Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, and rehabilitation professionals.
