Looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Orthopedic Clinic

We are looking for an educated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to help patients improve their mobility and move forward. You will work closely and under the direction of the physical therapist, treating patients with medical problems or other conditions that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities.

Salary:

  • $60,000 - $80,000 a year with benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and assessments in a kind and respectful manner
  • Modify treatment plans and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, always putting patient needs first
  • Instruct and supervise patients on therapeutic exercises and activities with patience and empathy
  • Utilize various modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation, to help relieve pain and improve function, while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home with kindness and understanding
  • Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes in a thorough and compassionate manner
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records with care and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Currently active PTA state license
  • Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
