Are you a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) looking to make a difference? Join our skilled nursing facility and work under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists to help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals and enhance their quality of life.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support assessments of residents' physical capabilities to identify needs.
  • Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve residents' mobility.
  • Track and document progress, communicating changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive resident care.
  • Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and ongoing care strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Currently active PTA state license
  • Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
