Are you a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) eager to make a difference? Join our skilled nursing facility, where you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to assist residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals and improving their quality of life.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of residents' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities.
  • Monitor residents' progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Educate residents and families on rehabilitation and home exercise strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Currently active PTA state license
  • Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
