Seeking Compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant Needed

Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary:
  • $60,000 to $80,000 a year plus benefits
Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Apply modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound as directed by the physical therapist.
  • Help assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, documenting findings.
  • Track and report patients’ progress to the supervising physical therapist regularly.
  • Instruct patients on exercises, stretches, and activities to improve mobility and strength.
  • Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after patient sessions.
  • Ensure all therapy equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments, progress notes, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree from an approved program for Physical Therapist Assistants
  • .Current New York state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • At least 2+ years of experience as Physical Therapist Assistant is required but new grads are also welcome to apply!
  • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
