Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
- $60,000 to $80,000 a year plus benefits
- Collaborate with physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Apply modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound as directed by the physical therapist.
- Help assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, documenting findings.
- Track and report patients’ progress to the supervising physical therapist regularly.
- Instruct patients on exercises, stretches, and activities to improve mobility and strength.
- Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after patient sessions.
- Ensure all therapy equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments, progress notes, and other relevant information.
- Associate's degree from an approved program for Physical Therapist Assistants
- .Current New York state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- At least 2+ years of experience as Physical Therapist Assistant is required but new grads are also welcome to apply!
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
