Physical Therapist Assistant - Sigma Physical Therapy Center

We are looking for a compassionate and friendly Physical Therapist Assistant to provide optimal resident care at Sigma Physical Therapy Center in Washington State. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for day-to-day therapeutic interventions under the direct supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.

Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM)
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review medical records and verify MD orders and physical therapy assessments before implementing treatment.
  • Communicate with supervisors about patients' statuses and needs.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Train patients, families, and direct care staff on follow-through programs.
  • Participate in care plan/team meetings for patients receiving services.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • Current Washington state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a commitment to patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
