Physical Therapist Assistant - NovaMed Physical Therapy Center

Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM)
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physical therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Assist in therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on support and guidance to ensure effectiveness.
- Document patient responses and progress, maintaining accurate records per facility standards.
- Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies and home exercise techniques.
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure well-rounded patient care and support.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a commitment to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
