Seeking Compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PTA, you will collaborate closely with our licensed Physical Therapist to deliver outstanding care and support to our patients. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: $50,000-$70,000 per year with full benefits.

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients an hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting patient evaluations and assessments with care and professionalism.
  • Implement treatment plans and adjust exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient well-being is the top priority.
  • Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with patience and encouragement.
  • Apply various physical therapy modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to alleviate pain and enhance function while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and their families on safe techniques for performing exercises and activities at home, offering guidance and support.
  • Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes in a detailed and compassionate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records with attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution
  • Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • 2 years of clinical experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a passion for patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, fostering collaboration and respect
