Physical Therapist Assistant - Zenith Physical Therapy Center

Are you passionate about helping others regain mobility and improve their quality of life? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team at Zenith Physical Therapy Center.

Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM)
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as trigger point therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home health care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with facility policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols while delivering patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Must possess a current NY PTA license and an AAS PTA degree.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
