Join our dedicated team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. In this role, you'll work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement tailored rehabilitation plans that help individuals regain mobility and independence. Your compassionate approach will foster a supportive environment, empowering residents on their journey to recovery.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating residents' physical abilities and limitations to tailor effective rehabilitation strategies.
  • Implement treatment plans crafted by the Physical Therapist, focusing on enhancing strength, mobility, and independence.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities while monitoring progress and communicating changes to the supervising PT.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive and holistic care.
  • Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise routines and ongoing therapy techniques.
  • Uphold all regulatory and professional standards to provide the highest quality of care.

Requirements:

  • Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Currently active PTA state license
  • Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
