We are seeking a caring and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals. In this vital role, you'll collaborate with skilled Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, enhancing the quality of life for each resident. Your expertise and dedication will be key in guiding individuals towards improved mobility and functional independence.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of residents' physical capabilities and limitations.
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to address residents' rehabilitation needs.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve residents' strength and mobility.
  • Monitor and document residents' progress, communicating any changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support ongoing therapy and rehabilitation.

Requirements:

  • Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Currently active PTA state license
  • Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
