Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant and Inspire Change!

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to implement personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing residents' mobility and independence. Your commitment to care and collaboration will be key in helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of residents' physical capabilities and collaborate with Physical Therapists on treatment plans.
• Implement individualized treatment strategies to help residents improve their mobility and independence.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and monitor residents’ progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all interactions and progress while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective care.
• Educate residents and their families about recovery strategies and home exercise programs.

Requirements:

• Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Currently active PTA state license
• Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
