Be a Source of Strength as a Physical Therapist Assistant!

We are seeking a caring Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and support residents on their healing journeys. In this role, you will collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver personalized care that addresses each individual's rehabilitation needs. Your role as a compassionate guide will empower residents to overcome obstacles and celebrate their progress every step of the way.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of residents' physical capabilities and limitations.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve residents' strength and mobility.
• Monitor and document residents' progress, communicating any changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support ongoing therapy and rehabilitation.

Requirements:

• Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Currently active PTA state license
• Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
