Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant Needed

We invite you to join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In this role, you will collaborate with a licensed Physical Therapist to implement effective treatment plans aimed at helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your efforts will be instrumental in enhancing patients' physical function and overall health. As a PTA, you will cultivate supportive relationships with patients, offering encouragement and guidance throughout their recovery journey.

Salary:
$50,000-$60,000 per year with full benefits.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Patient Volume:
1-2 patient an hour

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes gate to make appropriate recommendations for assisted devices
  • Assesses the patients balance, coordination, proprioception abilities
  • Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to meet individual needs
  • Develops a treatment plan based on patient’s functional abilities
  • Evaluates and treats the muscular, skeletal, neurological and cardiovascular patients
  • Makes referral recommendations for additional patient care services as required
  • Works with the referring physician for individual needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Current New York state license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Must have 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Strong manual therapy skills and training.
  • Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • New grads are welcome to apply!
