Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant Position Available in Orthopedic Clinic
We are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic. Your role will be essential in assisting with effective rehabilitation protocols and enhancing patients’ overall well-being. - Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm

- Assisting physical therapists in providing treatment to patients, including administering exercises and modalities as prescribed.
- Following treatment plans developed by physical therapists and adjusting interventions as necessary under their supervision.
- Educating patients and their families about exercises, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Observing and documenting patients' progress during therapy sessions and reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Setting up and maintaining therapeutic equipment, ensuring it is safe and functional.
- Teaching patients how to perform exercises correctly to promote recovery and prevent injury.
- Completing necessary documentation, including patient records and billing information.
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Active New York state license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Must have 2 years relevant experience.
- Strong manual therapy skills and training.
- Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
- Ability to think critically and adapt treatment plans based on patient responses and needs.
