Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Patient Volume: 1-2 patient an hour

Responsibilities
  • Assisting physical therapists in providing treatment to patients, including administering exercises and modalities as prescribed.
  • Following treatment plans developed by physical therapists and adjusting interventions as necessary under their supervision.
  • Educating patients and their families about exercises, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
  • Observing and documenting patients' progress during therapy sessions and reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist.
  • Setting up and maintaining therapeutic equipment, ensuring it is safe and functional.
  • Teaching patients how to perform exercises correctly to promote recovery and prevent injury.
  • Completing necessary documentation, including patient records and billing information.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Active California state license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Must have 2 years relevant experience.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and training.
  • Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
  • Ability to think critically and adapt treatment plans based on patient responses and needs.
