Seeking Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice, where our focus is on providing patient-centered, high-quality care in a compassionate and equitable manner. In this role, you will assist licensed Physical Therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring patient progress, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Salary:
  • $50,000-$70,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Patient Volume: 1-2 patient per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists, ensuring a safe and effective therapy experience.
  • Conduct initial assessments and gather patient information to support the evaluation process, including medical history and current conditions.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Apply modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment procedures, and outcomes in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Active California state license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Must have 2 years previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
  • Strong manual therapy skills and training.
  • Proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
