Join Our Compassionate Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant!
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We invite you to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and play a pivotal role in helping our residents regain their independence. In this fulfilling position, you’ll work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to each resident’s unique journey to recovery.
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to assess residents’ physical abilities and craft effective rehabilitation strategies.
- Implement treatment plans focused on enhancing strength, mobility, and overall well-being.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress and providing feedback to the supervising PT.
- Work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for every resident.
- Educate residents and their families on home exercise routines and ongoing therapy techniques.
- Maintain the highest standards of care by adhering to regulatory and professional guidelines.
Requirements:
- Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Currently active PTA state license
- Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
