Are you a compassionate caregiver eager to make a lasting impact? Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)! In this role, you will partner with Physical Therapists to support residents in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility and independence.
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to assess residents' needs and design personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and monitor residents' progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Administer treatments in a supportive and encouraging environment, fostering resident confidence.
- Work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each resident.
- Provide education to families about ongoing care and exercises they can support at home.
- Follow all regulatory standards to maintain the highest quality of care.
Requirements:
- Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Currently active PTA state license
- Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
