Join our dynamic team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), where your passion for helping others will shine! You will work closely with residents to understand their unique challenges and assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing tailored treatment plans. Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans crafted by the Physical Therapist, focusing on enhancing strength, mobility, and independence.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive and holistic care.
- Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise routines and ongoing therapy techniques.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities while monitoring progress and communicating changes to the supervising PT.
Requirements:
- Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Currently active PTA state license
- Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
