We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized rehabilitation plans. Collaborating closely with licensed Physical Therapists, your efforts will empower individuals to regain mobility and independence in a supportive environment.
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating residents’ physical capabilities and limitations.
- Implement treatment plans focused on enhancing strength and mobility.
- Provide compassionate care while monitoring progress and reporting to the supervising PT.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate residents and families on effective home exercise techniques.
Requirements:
- AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
- Current PTA state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
